Clayton Woodley explores the world as a nomadic creator. His debut body of work “Dreams to Awaken” combines surreal-like landscapes from remote corners of the world with female form interacting with chiffons of varying opacities.  His large-scale color photographs explore themes of identity through chance gestural movements between the women and fabric within the frame.  His underlining esoteric theme returns the human experience to its divinity within nature much like the representative flower each piece is titled after.

His debut solo exhibition  "Dreams to Awaken" was held at SHIM gallery in Brooklyn, NY last year and is currently on view at Contra Galleries in NYC.
